Marking is instinctual and a form of communication among both male and female dogs although it is less common in females. Marking is a small amount of urine expelled. It is NOT dribbling or full bladder elimination. It is important to have your dog examined by your vet if this is happening as this can be a sign of a urinary tract infection (UTI) or another ailment.
Dogs mark for many reasons from anxiety and insecurity to submissiveness or a change in routine. When female dogs mark it is usually a sign that they are going into heat. It alerts male dogs that they are ready for breeding. This can be a definitive sign to apply one of our diapers.
Our diapers are made to hold female menstrual pads as well as adult pads for incontinence. This makes for easy cleanup. Change pads regularly to avoid rashes and machine wash our diapers if soiled.
We recommend you purchase more than one diaper so you have a spare when one is in the wash. Buy two and you automatically get 10% off of the second pair.
