This snuggle fit Belly Band wraps around your dogs body and covers his belly and should be used with a disposable absorbent pad for extra protection.
You should not leave the Belly Band on all the time. Simply take it off when he needs to relieve himself OUTSIDE !
Belly Bands are not meant to worn constantly, but rather as an aid when you want to allow your dog inside the house without the headache of keeping a constant eye on him making sure he doesn't pee on your furniture.
Older dogs often become incontinent and a belly band is an excellent method to prevent urine dribbles on your floor and carpet.
We do not suggest that one should leave a wet belly band or Doggie Diaper on a dog for extended period of time. But, you don't necessarily need to go around every 30 seconds changing them either and anyone with male dogs know they can lift their leg and mark quite often, and this will go on until the are trained to stop.

All of our Belly Bands are machine washable in warm water and dryer safe in low heat. please be sure to fasten the Velcro prior to washing to avoid any snagging on the thread.
Remember to always remove and dispose of the sanitary pad before washing.

Thank you so much for telephoning me and the suggestion of shape for Pickles that would work better for him than what I had originally ordered. We are using your product for our rescue as he is not cueing us when he needs to go out and there have been some puddles found around the house, despite taking him out regularly. He doesn’t like the cold so won’t go out on his own when we open the back door, so we are trying frequent walks. But now we don’t worry so much inside the house during the day. Before your diapers arrived we were trying to keep an eye on him at all times when he left the room!
