Instructions

To activate, please follow these steps:

Submerge the neck wrap in cold or ice water for approximately 15 minutes to activate the cooling beads. After the beads have soaked for this duration, evenly distribute the polymer beads and then leave them in the water for an additional 45 minutes.

Depending on the weather, you may need to moisten the wrap several times while outdoors. We suggest carrying a cold bottle of water with you to dampen it if it becomes dry.

After a day's use, store the cooling wrap in the refrigerator until you need it again. Don't store it in a bag as it may cause it to go moldy. DO NOT FREEZE!!
To reuse, just run it under cold water for approximately 15 minutes to cool it down, thus eliminating the need for reactivation.

Once you're finished with it for the summer, allow the wrap to dry completely before storing it away for next year.

Great!

I tried this on both myself and my dog, and was very pleased with how well it worked!

The wrap needs to be submerged in water before you use it for the first time, but it's well worth the wait time. I ended up using it on a hot day, and even though the fabric dried in the process of wearing it, the beads were still maintaining the cooling effect.

When I had it on my dog, I was able to trust that wasn't flooding her fur or skin with prolonged wetness, but while seeing that it was still keeping her cool and comfortable. She was able to wear it over her collar, and could still roll around on the grass with ease with it on.

For humans, I think it's a great accessory for anyone who overheats or who is active during the warmer times of the year. It's very easy to resubmerge in water to reactivate the cooling during longer adventures (or douse with water from a water bottle). I can definitely see taking this with me and wearing it on hikes, bike rides, and it would be great for camping! It's very soft and comfortable, too, so I can see wearing it while traveling or even sleeping when the fabric is on the drier side.

Definitely worth trying and adding to your collection guven its multi-use for both humans and dogs!
